June 28, 2011- Graeme Lay of Orlando, Florida fought and landed this hefty Amber jack while on a fishing charter with Captain Jim Griffith of Angler Management Charters. After over an hour of reeling, he pulled the AJ off of one of the many wrecks located in Marathon, Florida. Graeme and company had a great time fishing and came home with plenty of fish to eat for dinner while visiting the Keys and also to take home with them to Orlando. His arms were still tired from fighting this Amberjack, but he managed to hold it up for a few photos back at the dock. |

June 28, 2011- Last week was very successful both offshore fishing for Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo and also on the wrecks and reef. We have enclosed a short note from one of Jim's customers last week, as it definitely sounds like they had a lot of fun fishing with Captain Jim on Angler Management Charters. Hi Jim, You took our families fishing this past week. Mike Tucker and Jeff Feins. Here is the picture of the Big tuna we caught. Thank you for the great memories: Kim Tucker (Lauren Tucker 10 yrs old is in picture) |

January 24, 2011- Tracey came to visit the Keys and all she could talk about was getting some fresh fish to fry for dinner... only problem was Captain Jim had to do the cooking along with the Captaining! Tracey shook off the rust from her angling arm to reel in several nice Hogfish, some Porgies and Mangrove Snappers. She helped Jennifer pose for a picture with a nice 45 pound Amberjack that Jen caught out on one of Marathon's wrecks.Everyone had a great time, out fishing & even better time eating up the fillets that Captain Jim fixed up for the group!

December 2010- Matt took a break from his usual day Bartending at the Island Fish Company to take his friend, Ollie, of Germany out for a day fishing with Jim on Angler Management Charters. While it had been windy & cool for a while, they were able to catch up the fish while out on the ocean for the afternoon. They brought back Hogfish, Mangrove Snapper, Mackerel, Grouper & Porgies, despite the part when Ollie lost a 20 inch plus Hogfish......

December 29, 2010- The Simon's were out with Angler Management for a day on the water away from the cold in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They worked the reefs for dinner & wound up with some nice Hogfish and Snapper for their plates! Pete, along with his girlfriend, and his parents were all at it, catching up the snappers and Mackerel. Only some of them choose to try the sushimi on the dock with a little soy sauce and wasabi, while the rest of the fillets were taken into the Island Restaurant to be francaised and blackened for dinner. |

January 3, 2010- Angler Management was offshore fishing a couple of times this week... with the Lindsey's, from Newnan, Georgia. The first day out with Cliff and his family, Capt Jim lead them to some nice Mangrove Snapper & of course this time of year, Mackerel. Then they went Offshore to catch up the Tuna & had a great time reeling em' in! They told Jim the next day that they were a little sore from fishing, but I don't think that they were really complaining. |

December 26, 2010- For Christmas two young men from Marietta, Georgia were treated by one of their Mother's to a day out charter fishing with Capt. Jim on Angler Management. They were on leave from their Army obligations in Iraq, and took the opportunity to blow off some steam out on the water. They ended up with a nice sized Grouper, several Mackerel and some great sized Mangrove Snapper for dinner... After Captain Jim filleted up their fish, they had dinner right at the restaurant by the boat dock! |

November 30, 2010- Lately, Jim's been Captaining a private boat, a beautiful 47 foot Hatteras here in Marathon, Florida. It's that time of the year, the snow birds are headed back to the Florida Keys, and Angler Management is busy on several boats. You can't get much better than standing in that 30 foot Tuna Tower looking for Sailfish spraying, not to mention the gorgeous views! Check out some of the photos... the Mackeral bite has been great, along with Snapper, Mutton, Mangroves, Yellowtail, Sailfish and Tuna. |

November 23, 2010- Sailfish are back!!! Only 5 minutes after pulling anchor from chumming up the Ballyhoo to go Sail fishing we saw the tell "tail" spray of Ballyhoo with a Sailfish hot on the trail of the bait fish. Right off the port of the boat, there was a beautiful sailfish. Capt Jim had that Sailfish hooked up almost instantly for a first timer on the billfish action... it was amazing. We also limited a couple catches of Mangrove snapper that day all in the 16-18" range. |
